Supporting Candidates
The Mizuho Americas PAC supports candidates who align with Mizuho company interests and values. Candidates, regardless of political affiliation, are evaluated and selected based on an established set of criteria intended to support the company’s advocacy strategy on key policy issues that impact our business and industry.
All Mizuho Americas PAC contributions to lawmakers are within FEC-directed spending limits and can be viewed on the FEC website. The Mizuho Americas PAC does not contribute to Presidential campaigns or Super PACs.
Meet the PAC Board
The Mizuho Americas PAC is governed by an independent Board of Directors. The Board is comprised of employees across the company and serve as liaisons between the Mizuho Americas PAC and eligible Mizuho Americas employees. They are responsible for ensuring the highest level of compliance and transparency, reviewing the PAC spending budget, and overseeing PAC operations including events, meetings, and outreach.
