An eligible employee makes a voluntary contribution to the Mizuho Americas PAC.
Contributions are limited by the Federal Election Commission (FEC) during the calendar year to $5,000 per contributor.
Individual voluntary contributions to the Mizuho Americas PAC are pooled together to amplify our collective voice.
Elected officials receive PAC contributions on behalf of the PAC. The PAC supports candidates who understand the importance of their policy and regulatory issues.
Candidates are selected by the Government Affairs team, and the PAC contribution budget is approved by the PAC Board of Directors Contribution criteria is used to guide decision making in alignment with the Mizuho Americas PAC purpose, goals, and legislative priorities.
The Government Affairs team may attend fundraising events for candidates whom the PAC has supported. These events help establish relationships and ensure candidates are aware of all that Mizuho does.
